The first museums are built by the first believers

New Discoveries is at its founding moment. The supporters who give now are not topping up an endowment, they are building the museum itself, and we intend to remember them for it.

How is my money actually used?

Spending follows our board-adopted Guiding Initiatives: museum development, the virtual museum platform, education programs, artifact recovery and conservation, and community partnerships. Our Accountability page explains the governance behind that promise, and our IRS filings are available to anyone on request.

Can I give monthly?

Yes. Choose Monthly in the giving panel above. Steady monthly support is what lets us plan multi-year work like museum construction. You stay in control: change the amount, update your card, or cancel any time at Manage your gift.

Do you accept stock, donor-advised fund grants, or IRA distributions?

Yes, all three. See Ways to Give for the details each one needs, including our EIN, 99-1824697. For stock transfers, write to us and we will send instructions the same day.

Will I get a written acknowledgment for my taxes?

Yes, automatically. Every successful gift, including each monthly payment, triggers an emailed acknowledgment stating the date, the amount, our EIN, and the IRS statement that no goods or services were provided in exchange, other than benefits of insubstantial value. Your year-end statement is also available any time in the Donor Portal.

How is New Discoveries related to Treasure Experience?

Treasure Experience is a for-profit company that funds and operates recovery expeditions. New Discoveries is a separate nonprofit and the custodian of recovered artifacts. The relationship, the shared people, and how the board handles conflicts are spelled out on our Accountability page.

Can I sponsor an exhibit or a program?

Yes. Exhibit sponsorships, naming opportunities, and program underwriting are available for larger gifts and corporate partners. Write to us and we will send the options.

Is card checkout secure?

On supported devices you can give with Apple Pay or Google Pay in one tap. You will receive an emailed receipt right away, and year-end tax statements are available any time in the Donor Portal. Prefer a personal touch? Email pledges still go straight to our Executive Director.

How do I change or cancel my monthly gift?

Right on this site, no phone calls and no hoops: go to Manage your gift, verify with your email and the last four digits of your card, and change the amount, update your card, or cancel in a few clicks.

How do I get my donation records?
